I finally got to try Sassenach Gin at Fire Feast at Lallyboch. It was a great evening Canapés and Cocktails followed by a sharing style Feast. Bagpipes, Highland Cattle and costumes to try on.
This is not just for Outlander fans, 10 out of 10.

The Fire Feast at Midhope Castle was an amazing experience. Canapés were delicious my favourite was Cullen Skink. Cocktails inside Midhope Castle made with Sassenach Gin and Brambles, nonalcoholic options available as well. We were Piped to dinner which was in the farm workshop. The tables were beautifully laid out for the sharing style feast. This was a great way to get to know your neighbours. My favourites were the Balmoral Chicken and Cranachan, a traditional Scottish dessert.
There was the option to do a little shopping for Scottish made goodies and of course Sassenach Whisky and Gin.
That’s not all though you also get to meet some Highland Cattle.
I give it a 10 out of 10. Thanks to James at Midhope for a fun and relaxing evening.
