๐Ÿ˜ PERFECT DAY AT COCO CAY - PORT DAY ๐Ÿ˜

Yesterday was our final port of call before a couple of days at sea of our 7 night cruise onboard Royal Caribbean Symphony of the Seas.

Coco Cay did not disappoint and no wonder they call it Perfect Day.

We had purchased water park passes so we did spend most of our time there and it truly is a fantastic water park for all ages. We got off the ship at 8am and headed straight for the biggest slides giving us time to relax by the wave pool before hitting the slides again.

We then headed to South Beach where there are lots of sports and games for those looking to be active or for those wanting to chill can hit the floating bar.

The island has areas to cater for all guests with family friendly areas and adult only beach areas to stunning over water cabanas with a slide into the sea.

You must be back on the ship by 5pm so there is plenty of time to enjoy the island.

๐Ÿ”ท OUR NEW YORK STAY COMES TO AN END ๐Ÿ”ท

A city we have now visited several times over the last 10 years yet again did not disappoint. As we had seen a lot of the city and attractions before we decided this visit was going to be more relaxed.

We flew into JFK and then used the Air Train and metro to get to our hotel as traffic from JFK into Manhattan is really heavy so this was a quicker way.

We stayed at the 4* RIU Plaza Times Square which has been a great choice for us with breakfast included and a spacious family room to accommodate us with having two teenagers.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ OUR VISIT TO EMPIRE STATE BUILDING ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

The first night was our first visit to Empire State. We have done Rockefeller, The Edge and SUMMIT before so this is why we thought it was time to do NYโ€™s original and firm favourite viewing platform.

Located on 34th Street at 5th Avenue it is a great location a with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in the area.

After a walk through of the exhibitions showing you the history of the building you come across the infamous King Kong attraction and is a great photo stop on the way.

Then itโ€™s up to the 86th floor where you can walk around the observation deck and get a great view of the whole city and across into New Jersey.

There is the 102nd floor which offers even better views and is an inside observation deck.

We enjoyed our time at Empire State and then it was time for a stroll around the area and Madison Avenue Park which is really buzzing on a summer night.

Itโ€™s been great seeing so many of my customers enjoying their holidays all over the world but now Itโ€™s my favourite time of year, our family holiday.

We are off to New York (again ๐Ÿ˜‚) followed by a cruise to the Bahamas and then a few nights in the stunning city of Boston.
