Just along the High Street (towards Joppa) you’ll find this gem of an artisan bakery! Such a treat of freshly baked breads, pastries and take away coffees…. A must for a weekend foodie treat 😍

Mostly flour & butter with a lot of skill, time and care.

🥰 Wow, what a pic!

Tonight's crescent moon from Arthur's Seat.

Fresh out of the camera. I left the house earlier with another shot in mind, however glancing up to sky I noticed the crescent moon looked stunning. With a bit of hasty planning I realised I could frame it with the Castle from Arthur's Seat, moments before it set. Stunning way to end the day.

For a while lots of old lanterns around Edinburgh seemed to be on 24/7. No idea why. I suspect the technical explanation is they were most likely knackered. That's bad in some respects but I can't be bothered to list those respects and having booted at least three moaning faced whinging people off the page the last few days, I'm no gonna join em. Nope. No danger.

Instead, I just thank the dafties for being too lazy to sort them and take photos with the lanterns on. Braw. Handy even. Here's one such example; from the west end of Princes Street looking towards the castle in the middle of the day, broad daylight and it was sunny and warm-ish. Still, handy as I said. Especially if you want a photo with a lantern on... :-) Happy Tuesday and thanks for looking in.

Just outside Edinburgh lies the wee town of Dalkeith and just on the edge of Dalkeith is a mighty fine country park. There you will find a number of things and I'll let you find those yourself...I have my reasons but I will tell you about the massive array of flowers, trees and wildlife you'll find in there as it's certainly worth looking at!
..in fact, I will tell you nothing. How about I show you? Here are the bluebells of Dalkeith as the sun makes a wee cameo through the trees high overhead.

Happy Friday and per always, prints for this one can go worldwide and are available here https://www.colinmyers.com/product/bluebells-dalkeith-midlothian/ (Y)
