On this day in 1314, the Battle of Bannockburn was fought near Stirling, a defining Scottish victory under Robert the Bruce during the First War of Scottish Independence.
Today, the battlefield is preserved and interpreted at the Bannockburn Visitor Centre just outside the city.
We never get tired of sharing places like this with our guests, where a simple stop becomes a connection to Scotland’s past.

These beautiful photos from the Butt of Lewis, captured by our guide Stefan, feature dramatic Atlantic cliffs, blue skies, and one of the area's most charismatic seabirds: the fulmar, often nicknamed the "mini albatross".

Steven continues to earn fantastic reviews for his storytelling, knowledge, and dedication to our guests. He's also been a huge support to the team, stepping in when needed and always willing to help.
