Cleaned all the filler off the fire surround , I’ve still got to go round the edges with the emulsion. Wall is Farrow&ball “Brinjal” estate emulsion. This is coat 3. I wanted a warm feel to this cottage as it was all a pale blue grey. Not my colours. The surround is a type of metal. I might sand it lightly as to show a distressed look. The woodburner is a total winner ! Love it ! Get booking folks. This cottage will be 3-4 dog friendly. I love Pimpernel !

The Peddars Way is referred to by many as a Roman road, but this was likely an ancient trackway, adopted and remodelled by the Romans.

It stretches for 46 miles (74 km), runs from Knettishall Heath in Suffolk to Holme-next-the-Sea in Norfolk
