☀️ A little note about coach air conditioning during very hot weather…
We know that when the temperature rises, everyone wants to step onto a lovely cool coach — and we completely understand why!
Our coaches are fitted with air conditioning, with systems regularly serviced and maintained. However, when temperatures become particularly extreme, there are limits to how much cooling any air-conditioning system can achieve.
A coach is a much bigger space than a car, with large windows, plenty of sunshine coming in, doors opening and closing throughout the day and around 70 passengers on board. That is a lot of warmth for the system to work against!
On the hottest days, the air conditioning is working incredibly hard, but it may not always feel as cool as you would expect in a smaller vehicle. It can also take a little time to bring the temperature down after a coach has been parked in the sun or once everyone has boarded.
Please be assured that our drivers and team are doing everything they can to keep journeys as comfortable as possible. They are feeling the heat too, especially after a full day behind the wheel, so we are always grateful for a little patience and kindness during a heatwave.
