𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱. Good news for the Island as this means the Cottage Museum, Round Tower and toilets will be open to visitors once again.
The service resumes this Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 5.30pm, helping visitors make the most of their time exploring one of Fermanagh's most important heritage sites.

𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁? Our guided Devenish Island Experience operates daily from Enniskillen, combining a scenic boat journey with a guided tour of the island and its fascinating history.

The Ambassador Welcome Programme is returning to Devenish Island, offering visitors a warm Fermanagh welcome, free guided tours, and fascinating insights into one of Ireland's most important monastic sites.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Lower Lough Erne, Devenish Island is home to a remarkably well-preserved round tower, ancient church ruins, and centuries of history waiting to be discovered.

𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗘𝗿𝗻𝗲.

Over two Dawn Chorus Boat Tours in May, guests enjoyed the sights and sounds of more over 40 bird species, including several appearances from a Kingfisher that put on quite a show.

A special thank you to Amy Burns for sharing her knowledge, passion and fascinating insights into the birds and wildlife that call Lough Erne home.

The quietness of Island Discovery allows us to experience nature without disturbing it, making these early morning journeys something truly special.

While the rest of the world was hitting snooze, we were enjoying one of nature's finest performances. Calm waters, golden morning light and 35 species of birds combined to create a spectacular Dawn Chorus Cruise, our 2nd this month.

It was a reminder of how rewarding it can be to slow down and simply listen.
.....Without the noise of petrol or diesel engines or the slap of paddles on the water, the tranquillity of dawn remains untouched. Island Discovery, Ireland’s only all-electric, solar powered passenger tour boat, lets us experience nature up close without disturbing its natural rhythm

What a great week on the water. From newlyweds from the to visitors travelling from Canada, America, Australia and Mexico to experience the Fermanagh Lakelands at a slower pace.

There’s always something special about hearing different accents on the boat while sharing the stories of their trips around Ireland.
