Weather looking good for Easter 🐣 ☀️
☀️ SIGNS OF HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING AGAIN AROUND THE EASTER HOLIDAYS🌡️
There are some early signs that high pressure could build again on the week of easter with nice dry conditions developing by the Easter weekend. Temperatures could also be similar to what we seen over the past few days with temperatures in the mid to high teens for the Easter holidays.
Monday will be another mainly dry day but some drizzle or light showers possible by the evening in the northwest.
Tuesday a heavier band of rain will push across Ireland west to east through the morning and afternoon with some heavier falls in the southwest and west with a potential for spot flooding. Rain will clear during the evening with colder conditions extending from the northwest with wintry showers of hail and sleet with some snow on higher ground. A few isolated thunderstorms also possible through Tuesday night. There will be a risk of some frost and ice also on Tuesday night with lows of -1C.
A cold day on Wednesday with wintry showers of hail and sleet possible with some snow on higher ground, some isolated thunderstorms also possible with showers heaviest in the north, northwest, and southwest elsewhere showers will be less and drier. Cold on Wednesday night with lows of -2C possible with frost and icy patches.
Further showers on Thursday and Friday but good dry periods also for places. Friday will see some sunny spells after early morning clears to the southeast.
