Nomadic Travel

Nomadic Travel We are an independent specialist travel agency offering tailor-made itineraries and escorted tours for discerning travellers to all corners of the world.

Our reputation naturally rests on our ability to provide our clients with the best possible travel arrangements. As one of only a limited number of AITO* specialist travel agents we have access to the itineraries of certain independently-owned tour operators who otherwise only sell direct to the public. Therefore many of the holidays we arrange are not otherwise available through mainstream travel

agents (who often are constrained to offer their parent company's own tour operators). This gives us a significant advantage when it comes to offering our clients truly independent advice and breadth of choice.

Regular Nomadic clients Liz and Lee Joslin have recently returned from the Himalayan jungles of North East India where Liz photographed this beautifully-framed Red Panda.

On their travels close to the Nepalese and Bhutanese borders they encountered all kinds of weather including early monsoon rain and even a late fall of snow, visiting the national parks of Jaldapara, Gorumara, Neora Valley as well as Singalila National Park where they crossed paths with their panda.

India offers the wildlife enthusiast exceptional opportunities with Snow Leopards in Ladakh, Asiatic Lions in Gir National Park, Rhinoceros in Kaziranga and of course the Bengal Tigers for which the country is always associated.

Get in touch to arrange your own bespoke wildlife holiday to India and we'll be happy to assist.

Best wishes,
The Nomads

From 12th October 2025, the European Union is introducing a new Entry/Exit System (EES) for travellers visiting the Schengen Area.

We've summarised the key points for you below to help you with this new system:

What is the EES?

The EES is a new EU border system that digitally records travel in/out of the Schengen Area.

This system will replace passport stamps and will automatically track the '90-in-180-day rule'.

Travellers will need to register their fingerprints and a photo at their first entry in the Schengen Area.

What you need to be aware of:

On first arrival in the Schengen Area, after 12th October 2025: provide fingerprints and a photo at border kiosks.

On later trips (within 3 years): only a fingerprint or photo may be required.

There is no cost, no online form and no advance action needed.
We recommend:

You allow extra time at ports/airports during the first months of operation – queues are likely.

Please note that Ireland and Cyprus are not in Schengen, so they are not affected.

If you have any questions about EES, do get in touch.

Destinations in demand by our clients for upcoming trips include Madagascar, Jordan, India, French Polynesia, Australia and Brazil.

As always, wildlife-viewing, walking & trekking and cultural immersion continue to be at the forefront of what everyone is seeking.
