Lovely to see birthday girl Melissa and James again for what’s becoming a regular annual treat. Obviously little Mabel and Max joined them and Holly came along for the ride (and treats). Amazing seafood platter and service from . I’ll definitely be bringing more customers to them in the future.

Lovely trip out fishing this morning with and Holly and family. Beautiful weather, loads of (small) bass plus one nice mackerel, and lots of smiles and laughs. And then a drink at the afterwards. A perfect morning!

So I’d planned to keep Holly the boat spaniel dry for the arrival of my guests in St Mawes. But she accidentally “fell” off the pontoon two minutes before they arrived. Clever move as it turned out to be a very hot day. Don’t worry, she had plenty more swims throughout the trip!
