🌟 We have news! 🌟
After a wonderful chapter, we’ve just hosted our final guests at Little Lodge on the Wolds as we hand over the keys to its lovely new owners – Gina and Mark! 🔑 🏡

It’s been an absolute joy running our little holiday haven – we’ve welcomed 805 guests 🧳 over 588 nights 🌙, completed 270 changeovers 🔄, and had visitors from all over the 🌍 staying for all sorts of special reasons.

We’ve loved every moment ❤️ and it’s been a real privilege to meet so many amazing people along the way. We’re going to miss it, but we know Gina and Mark are going to be brilliant hosts 🌟 – they’re full of enthusiasm and can’t wait to welcome you. Some VIPs staying in Little Lodge this weekend. These siblings used to visit their grandparents who lived in our home, Boulton House, in the 60’s. The Lodge was just an outbuilding then. Such a privilege to host them, show them around and hear some stories. Just love houses with history 🏡

🎄🎉 What a Year at Little Lodge on the Wolds! 🎉🎄

Our final guests of 2024 have checked out, and now it’s time for a well-earned rest as the Lodge welcomes our own family over the festive season.

✨ This year has been an incredible one, with 324 guests staying at Little Lodge for all sorts of reasons:
• 🌍 First-time visitors to the UK
• 💒 Attending weddings (and sadly, funerals)
• 🥾 Walking trips through the beautiful countryside
• 👯‍♀️ Girlie weekends in York
• 👶 Families taking their first break with a new baby
• 🛠️ Tradespeople needing a comfortable stopover
• 🎓 Parents visiting their children at York University

We’ve had the joy of welcoming guests from across the UK and from far-flung places like the US, Canada, Uruguay, Colombia, Malaysia, Germany, The Netherlands, Portugal, Greece, and France. 🌎

A heartfelt thank you to every single guest who chose to stay with us this year. It’s been our pleasure to host you and be part of your travels, celebrations, and adventures.

Well that was a crazy, busy summer! Massive thank you to all the amazing guests who chose to stay with us and have given us such lovely feedback. It’s such a pleasure to have so many wonderful people stay with us here and we couldn’t be more grateful ☺️
