Pretty much the final descent on the Blue at the Forest of Dean - every time I ride here this last section just rocks.. it honks big time!!

Gliding under the A3 near Hindhead and linking the woody trails that run north and south!

Who doesn't love a cheeky underpass with a bit of the 'Bramshott Banksy'

You'll find a similar set up of underpasses on the A31 in the New Forest if you find yourself that way 👉

Forest of Dean

What I dig about this track and my primary reason for returning to this exact spot are the views that are on offer! A lot of the Forest is under canopy but this track rides above this enabling you to get a sense of how frigging huge the Forest of Dean is.

It's big, it's green and needs to been seen..

Away from the mtb epicentre in the FoD (you know- the one with Pedal Syndicate and all those techy/flowy lovely trails) there's miles and miles of forest tracks to explore..so that's what I did 😀

If you like trees, peace and being at one with nature then pop along and have a look.

You can't escape the climbing on this bridleway I'm afraid..you're either riding uphill or downhill on this picturesque two mile track so best buckle up! Plus there's little respite either 😴 unless you're cheating on an EMTB 🤫

Good news is it's bookended by two decent coffee spots: Tanhurst Estate Cafe at the southerly end and Heartwork Coffee towards the north.

In fact there's another one if you head east towards Leith Tower ☕️🏰
