๐ŸŒŠ Stop and Think โ€“ Always take time to research local signage and beach flags. Always consider potential hidden dangers before entering the water, such as water depth, temperature, hazards beneath the surface and the local tides and currents.

๐Ÿง’ Supervise even when a lifeguard is present โ€“ Choose a lifeguarded beach wherever possible. Children in or near open water should always be supervised by an adult and never left unattended, even if a lifeguard is present.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ Stay Together โ€“ The best way to enjoy water safely is with company! Swim together where possible โ€“ or ensure there is someone watching you if you do go it alone. That way, youโ€™ll have someone to raise the alarm in case of emergency.

I visited here last month and it was BEAUTIFUL...escape to a timeless paradise where donkeys roam charming cobbled streets and the sea sparkles at every turn. This ADULTS ONLY (12+) hotel is one of the only ones on Hydra with a pool and the pool is perfect, a little oasis walking distance to all the bars and restaurants, frerry trips over to the other Saronic Islands and just a perfect, authentic Greek island! ๐Ÿ˜
