I was at the airport last weekend waiting for my flight to beautiful Kalamata, Greece, and I am not exaggerating... I think there was a secret tea convention happening that I wasn't invited to! 🤣

​Within the space of about 20 minutes, FOUR different groups and couples walked past me talking about - you guessed it - TEA.

​I kid you not, this is what I overheard:

1️⃣ "Did you pack the tea bags?" (The ultimate holiday essential, obviously)

2️⃣ "Let’s go get a brew before the flight."

3️⃣ "I can’t wait for a cup of tea!"

4️⃣ "I hope the hotel has good tea!"

​Tea was literally the talk of the airport! 😲 No wonder the rest of the world thinks Brits are absolutely tea mad. We can be heading to 30 degree sunshine and gorgeous Greek beaches, but our main priority is still a proper cuppa.

Good Moooorning! 😁

I'm very disappointed that I'm waking up without a hike to go on but here we are! I have a fair bit of admin to do today... if you've gotten in touch with me over the past 4/5 days, thank you for your patience whilst I was away on my fundraising trip, I'll come back to you today or tomorrow, just need to prioritise my time a bit.

I had an absolutely incredible time in Kalamata, I'll update you all later with some photos of what we got up to and the gorgeous resort that we stayed at.

I will be at my desk for the next couple of days and then next week will be a bit quieter with it being half term and spending time with my monkeys but I'll still be around for your enquiries, bookings and questions!

35 Hours to go...training like a Spartan (sort of!) 🏔️⚔️🧡

Yes, that is my face on a Spartan Warriors body 🤣

It’s Friday night, my bag is half packed, and I’m officially starting to feel the nerves.

This Sunday at 6:00 AM, I fly out to Greece for the challenge of a lifetime. But this isn't just any mountain. I’ll be climbing Mount Taygetos, which stands at a massive 2,407m.

To put that into perspective:
🇬🇧 It’s nearly double the height of Ben Nevis (the highest mountain in the UK).
🛡️ It’s the legendary training ground where Spartan warriors were sent to prove their strength and endurance.

I might not be a Spartan warrior, but I am a determined Travel Consultant! 😅 I’m taking on this climb alongside 9 other amazing travel industry colleagues to raise vital funds for St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley.

Where I’m at:
I’m currently at 17% of my £1,000 goal. I would absolutely love to see that number jump before I head to the airport on Sunday morning.
