Hi everyone - Emily here 👋

I am back from a wonderful long weekend in Budapest 🇭🇺

We stayed at the Anantara New York Palace and very much enjoyed walking and eating our way such a beautiful city. Budapest is a very easy city to navigate and also feels quite compact, we managed to squeeze so much in.

Our highlights were walking across Chain Bridge up to the Castle District and following the path all the way along to Fisherman's Bastion - stunning views of Parliament across the Danube. We also walked up Gillert Hill, visited the amazing central market, went inside St Stephen's Basilica and took a night cruise down the Danube to see the city lit up.

I'm a big foodie and was very happy to try everything - Langos, goulash, kremes and lots of chimney cakes! 😋

The Ananatara New York Palace was the perfect 5* base and it's home to the beautiful New York Cafe. We even managed a couple of hours of chill time in the spa one afternoon. I would highly recommend.
