If you’re of the opinion that hotels can’t be both luxurious and family-friendly, think again. The Mitsis Blue Domes hotel looks like it’s been plucked from the pages of a glossy travel magazine. The architecture and the interiors are a perfect blend of the modern and the traditional, the rooms are stylish and spacious, and 10 – yes, 10 - pools wind their way through the complex. Plus, the hotel cosies up to a sand and shingle Blue Flag beach with sparklingly clear waters.
When it comes to food, you’ve got the choice of 11 restaurants. The main restaurant is a buffet set-up serving around-the-world dishes, and the rest are à la carte eateries. In terms of the types of cuisine on offer, you’ll be spoilt for choice. There’s everything from Greek and Mexican to Asian and Italian food. Little ones, meanwhile, will be kept busy at the Mitsis Wonderland – an all singing, all dancing kids’ club with a pool, an indoor cinema, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, and more. There’s a section for teenagers, too. While the children are busy, take some me time at the Sapphire Spa, where you’ll find a steam room, an indoor pool and a gym.
