Art Not on the Prom. 🎨

We love this idea from Felixstowe Indoor Market!

Morning Helen here. A lot of people are disappointed that Art on the Prom was cancelled so we are organising the "Art Not on the Prom" trail.
The trail will be up on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th September
If local artists would like to bring 1 small piece of art in we can either pair you with a shop to display it or we will have a 6 by 2 ft table and a 7 by 5 ft display wall that we will be using as a display during the two days.
Likewise if there are any shops or businesses I haven't been to yet and you'd like to join in, please let me know ☺️
There is no charge for this as we are trying to showcase the hidden artistic talent in the town. Saying that I am now thinking it would be nice to support a local charity so a small donation of say £5 would be much appreciated from Artists taking part. Also it might increase footfall.

Welcome to the High Street Felixstowe Fairtrade Forum! 👋

You’ll find an eclectic mix of fairtrade goodies from all over the globe. 🌍

Our Visit Felixstowe favourites included the wooden play figures to include dinosaurs, polar bears, nurses and firemen, the organic soaps and oils and the rag dolls.

There’s also a vast range of fairtrade food stuff. 😋

All you need is love! 💕

Congratulations to Felixstowe’s very own Lindsey Franklin Yoga and Sue, who tied the knot on Saturday at Felixstowe Town Council.

Lindsey is a real asset to Felixstowe, hosting beach and disco yoga and works tirelessly raising funds for local charities. 🫶🏻

The turnout was a real testament to how well thought of Lindsey and Sue are in our special community.
