We followed the sign for farm & cycle shop and called into the Oswim Project. They work to develop skills and provide employment for prisoners and those who have completed their term. We sat in the benches (handmade) and enjoyed a salad and scone. We brought home some coffee, strawberries and jam.

We had a last-minute cancellation, so we thought, "Why not make the most of it?" Instead of re-hiring, we decided to use the time for ourselves! 🌟 We live in Northumberland and within an hour, found ourselves in the Scottish Borders, at the lovely Riverside Campsite in Hawick.

Today, we enjoyed a 12-mile loop around the town. The locals were so friendly, and once we left the built-up areas, the views were absolutely stunning. 🏞️ Otter, our working Cocka Spaniel, must've done double the mileage, running back and forth the whole time!

Definitely a trip to remember. 😊

It’s our 1st hire of the year and our new business Wheels Away Adventures Scott & Lill founds us via our fb pages and made the booking. From Sheffield to Northumberland to pick up and off North of the border to Scotland for the Easter Bank holiday. Handover very easy and insurance provided by us as part of the hire agreement. They also took the option to hire pushbikes put them in the garage at the back of Piglett and off they went.
