Silversands House can sleep up to 10 people (max 8 adults) and 2 dogs so is perfect for families to get together over the festive period. There is a free heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room and gym nearby (open daily), pub, pizzeria and shop. Or just relax in the open plan living room with balcony, log burner and sea views.

We even swam in the sea on New Years Day - knowing we could get back, warm and dry really quickly!! The house itself is fantastic - everything we could have asked for and more. We are getting ready for a busy season at Silversands House. As one of only a few properties sleeping 10 (max 8 adults) at The Bay Filey, we're perfect for larger families or people just wanting more space and a stunning sea view.

We've recently had a brick-built BBQ installed, and with 2 tables seating 6 on the front and rear patios, and seating for 8 on the balcony, we are hoping for some better weather!

Christmas is booked, but New Year is still available from Mon 27 Dec through to bank holiday Monday 3 Jan.

Dogs welcome too, but please do discuss with us first whether the house is suitable for your dogs, given its upside-down arrangement.

Wow, bookings have been going great for our first season. It's been a long wait since last Autumn, but fingers crossed holidays will be allowed soon, and we have some availability in the next few months, although summer is nearly full now with just one weekend in July left!

We can accommodate up to 10 people plus infant (max 8 adults) in 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. We have an amazing view right across the bay at Filey.

Short break prices start at £700, and weeks from £1250.

Here's a floor plan of our amazing property to help you see the space on offer!

On the ground floor, enter through the side porch on the right into the hallway. On the right (front of the house) are a kingsize bedroom with patio doors, and a twin bedroom with TV. Next is a family bathroom. Back in the hallway are the stairs and the main bedroom suite at the rear with separate seating/TV area with kettle, and a large shower ensuite.

Upstairs is the large open plan lounge / dining / kitchen with log burner and doors onto the balcony. There is also a 4th bedroom with ensuite shower and toilet which can also be accessed from the living space.

We're getting ready to open from 12 April, and have our first guests already booked in for then!

Both May bank holidays are available:

30 April - 3 May - one household only (including official support bubble) £1300

28 - 31 May - two households (no limit on numbers) or a max 6 people from more households £1600

We have weekends and mid-week stays in April and May from £1000, and 7 night stays from £1500. And before 17 May, we can offer discounts if you don't need all 4 bedrooms for your family.

We are excited to finally be able to receive our first guests as soon as 12th April hopefully!

So here are the rules around how many guests are allowed and when:

From 12 April 2021 at the earliest, one household is welcome to stay. As we sleep up to 10, if you are a smaller family, we may be able to do a special rate if you don't need all 4 bedrooms, so just contact us for a price.

From 17 May 2021 at the earliest, two households (max 8-10) or up to 6 people e.g. 3 couples are allowed to stay - the "Rule of 6".

From 21 June 2021 at the earliest, we can accept any bookings. We have 2 kingsize bedrooms, one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, and 2 camp beds so sleep 8-10 altogether.

We are now fully-booked for August apart from 27 August onwards, but plenty of other dates to pick from!
