Hare Cottage is really special; designed by Joanna (Johnson) Biker who has travelled extensively as part of her company role in finding event venues for corporate clients. With the insight of seeing the best of the best in designer, modern, luxury and traditional hotels, the creativeness has naturally flowed into the design and makeup of the cottage, built in 2014 with first guests being received in 2015. Located in stunning rolling green countryside between the popular dales market towns of Leyburn and Bedale you will find Hare Cottage in the village of Finghall. The friendly village has a superb pub, (2 minute walk) with fresh delicious food and log fires, post office and local bus service. There is also a second busy pub at the bottom of the hill, 10 minutes walk. The local Wensleydale train www.wensleydalerail.com has a station stop in Finghall which can be viewed and heard ambling along (they toot their way past the village) from the cottage and garden. There are special days where the train is pulled by steam and other events like children’s days, 1940’s www.leyburn1940sweekend.org, or Father Christmas. The station is only a 5 minute walk down the road and you can travel to Leyburn, Redmire and back to Leeming Bar and Bedale. Exuding luxury in a special setting everything has been thought of……
Underfloor heating throughout ensures all-year round warmth as well as a new Vesta log burner in the sitting room which can ensure a natural glow and crackle on a cold night. The beds are made up as a super-king zip and link bed which can be split into twin beds and the other a king sized bed. Both beds have luxury feather toppers, 400 thread count white linen and sumptuous pillows to melt into. The kitchen/sitting room has a SMART flat screen television, Wi-Fi and a Vesta log burning stove. The view from the large ceiling to floor windows/doors here soak in the beauty of the countryside. The luxury kitchen area has top quality fittings and superb appliances including a new Nespresso machine with milk frother, dishwasher, washing machine and Denby utensils and crockery. There are also a number of appliances which include a George Forman Grill, sandwich toaster and fruit juice squeezer. The fridge/freezer is full height split so there is plenty of room for your groceries. In your private garden you will find a view to a horizon of around 50 miles; a Western Cedar hot tub, private patio with a setting for evening supper, decking for morning coffee and a lawn to relax on. There is also ample secure car parking for two cars. The cottage backs onto private fields where you will find Clemmie and Toffee the very friendly Shetland ponies. Children
Children are welcome and to keep them amused (we have all been there!) there are a number of toys which can be accessed in a fenced off area in the field shared by the owner. There are also public, well kept and stocked playgrounds within 3 miles of the cottage. Tariff and Availability

Bedroom 2: With a Super King bed which can be presented as twin 3'0" zip and link beds, upon request, TV (on request) and en suite with large walk in shower cubicle, roll top bath, WC, wash basin and heated towel rail.
