With 30 years experience in the travel industry, I work outside of normal office and I am available for phone/Zoom appointments on evenings and weekends. I worked my way up to become a Retail Branch Manager and a Cruise Expert, having embarked on 15 cruises so far. I am extremely well-travelled, having swam with stingrays in Grand Cayman and green turtles in St. Thomas, and completed a PADI course
in the Maldives. I've enjoyed sundowners on safari in South Africa, flown in a seaplane over the Canadian glaciers, and braved the world's longest zip line over the sea in Haiti. I don’t just travel for my own person holidays, as a true travel professional, I spend a huge amount of time travelling for work to inspect destinations and properties to ensure they are of good standard and to ensure I have the knowledge to make great recommendations based on my clients’ requirements. Please allow me to share some of my favourite destinations with you.
• Maldives: In the past two years, I've visited the Maldives four times, staying at seven different beautiful islands. We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary at a perfect adults-only resort, but I've also explored islands with fantastic kids' facilities. Each island has its own unique personality, and I can help you choose the one that's right for you. The service here is unparalleled, and the food is simply heavenly!
• South Africa: This year, I had the incredible opportunity to explore South Africa. I went on two outstanding safaris, explored Cape Town, drove along the Garden Route, stayed on the banks of the Zambezi River, and visited Victoria Falls. It's an amazing destination and surprisingly affordable once you're there.
• Caribbean: I planned my own wedding in Cuba, so it holds a special place in my heart. Antigua is another favourite; we've celebrated our 5th and 10th wedding anniversaries there. During my Caribbean cruises, I've visited many islands and St. Lucia stand out as places I'd love to return to.
• USA: With my daughter living near San Francisco, I frequently visit the USA. My sister also lived in Wyoming in the USA so I've extensively toured the Rocky Mountains and Yellowstone Park, which is a favourite of mine. Florida is fabulous too; I love Fort Lauderdale, Miami South Beach, and of course, I couldn't miss taking the kids to Orlando when they were little!
• Cruise: I've cruised extensively with Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Princess Cruises, and Cunard to wonderful destinations including Alaska, Iceland, Norway, Scandinavia, Russia, the Caribbean, and the Mediterranean.
