We’re overwhelmed to be able to share with you the news that we’ve been supported by Arts Council England in round 2 of the Cultural Recovery Fund. To say we’re grateful to our core to ACE and the departments that have made this funding available, wouldn’t even come close.
This enables us to plan for a future after the last year of Covid shutdown, which has tragically removed so much culture & entertainment from our everyday lives.
Without a shadow of a doubt, we wouldn’t have been able to get to this stage without the help & guidance of the phenomenal team at Music Venues Trust.
We owe them a debt that probably can’t ever be repaid - Thank you, thank you, thank you x
Now…to the future!
We have plans for The Chambers & Folkestone that will do justice to the faith shown in us by ACE and are ridiculously excited to get ourselves out there when the time is ripe...

Extend the VAT at 5% for another 12 months until March 2022 for Hospitality. This is an essential lifeline for the Hospitality Industry’s Recovery - and perhaps the single biggest Covid-19 relief measure.l and must be extended if the industry hopes to have any meaningful recovery.

Following yesterday’s announcement outlining the imminent nationwide lockdown restrictions, with the government encouraging us all to stay at home again, we’ve made the decision to temporarily close from this evening until next month.

Unfortunately this means all upcoming table and room reservations will be cancelled up until December 2, 2020. We hope that you’ll choose to re-book so we will be able to welcome you back when restrictions are relaxed.

We’ll regularly review the situation and will continue to follow industry and government guidelines to ensure Rocksalt is a safe place for you to enjoy. We appreciate your support, patience and understanding during these uncertain, challenging times.
