Folkestone Film Festival presents a special screening of MAN BABY, a new surreal British horror-comedy. The screening will be followed by an in-person Q&A with writer/director Philip Hardy, producer Syd Heather and lead actor Divian Ladwa.

"When David finds out his girlfriend is pregnant, his p***s falls off. To be deemed mature enough to have it reattached, he must complete a five-step programme of self-improvement whilst simultaneously being stalked by a mysterious creature."

Produced by Kent-based filmmaker Syd Heather, MAN BABY (2025) stars Divian Ladwa (Detectorists, Lion, Black Ops) as an immature artist forced to confront impending fatherhood in increasingly bizarre circumstances. The film will be followed by an in-person Q&A with Philip Hardy, Syd Heather and Divian Ladwa, hosted by Ben Barton, Festival Director of the Folkestone Film Festival. Plus, the filmmakers will be bringing along some of the risqué props from the film! Over 18s only.

Welcome to Season Five of the Folkestone Film Festival, showcasing 41 short films from Kent & beyond, with filmmaker Q&As, discussions, and awards.

Season 5 has three blocks of short films throughout the day; tickets for each block can be purchased individually, or a day pass will give you access to all screenings at a reduced price, with a physical pass & lanyard which you can keep after the festival as a souvenir.
