An excellent Easter weekend with Shenagh, Chris, Nicki and "Eagle Whisperer" Mike, highlights being Golden and White Tailed Eagles, feeding Gannets up close, jaw dropping views of RedThroated, Black Throated and Great Northern Divers, Slavonian Grebes in breeding plumage (still off the coast not on breeding areas) Tysties (Black Guillemots) and newly arrived Wheatears, So many laughs, great conversations in the car, just great company. Storm Dave did not ruin any of the days, in fact it added to the whole experience with stunning snow covered hills and clear, ice free roads. Interested in joining us then get in early as this will book up early! The dates will be 25 - 30 March 2027. Wild Scotland VisitScotland RSPB Scotland Grant Arms Hotel

Wee bit shaky (or shouglie as we say here 😂) video of nesting European Shags on the beautiful Moray Firth. They are looking fantastic in their full breeding plumage, with the crest and beautiful green sheen to the feathers. Fancy seeing one? Then just get yourself on one of our Spring/Summer tours! birdingecosse.co.uk fans Wild Scotland VisitScotland RSPB Scotland Grant Arms Hotel American Birding Association
