Well all good things come to an end and such is the case for the tour wth Lynda, Caroline and Rosemary, a fantastic three days touring around the Highlands and based at the splendid Grant Arms Hotel in Grantown on Spey. Golden Eagle, Crested Tit, Crossbill and these very obliging Red Grouse were todays. Fancy joining us on one of our breaks? A fantastic 4 day (5 night) Autumn Tour with Irene, Mike and Ruth, based at the wonderful Grant Arms Hotel in Grantown on Spey, a lovely base for all my Birding Ecosse Tours. We covered some beautiful areas of Scotland including the Moray Coast, the wild West Coast, Stunning Glens and Rivers and Rocky shore and estuary. Birding highlights included Golden Eagles, White Tailed Eagles, Red and Black Grouse, Dippers, Crested T**s, Grey Plovers, Whooper Swans and 2 very late juvenile Common Terns. Fancy joining us? It has been a great couple of days with Irene, Mike and Ruth on the first of the season https://birdingecosse.co.uk/autumn-tours-2026 based at the beautiful Grant Arms Hotel. Golden and White Tailed Eagles, Black and Red Grouse, Dipper, Crested Tit but best bird for me by far was this Grey Plover for number 198! So here is a question for you all, since POTUS started his conflict in Iran the highest price for a Barrel of Brent Crude was $126.41, on 30 April 2026, a litre of diesel on this date was 189.9p

So how can it be that today’s price per barrel of the same Brent Crude is $104.38 yet a litre of diesel is 205.9p??

And a supplementary question, how can it be that the motorway services are priced today at £198.9 yet my local MFG Esso in Forres is 205.9p
