What is The Highland Club?
The Highland Club offers memorable vacations within luxury self-catered serviced apartments. The Highland Club is set within 20 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds of a converted Fort/Abbey on the south shores of Loch Ness. Staycations, vacations and trips to the Scottish Highlands are only made better by a stay at The Highland Club.
We occupy the Grade A gothic buildings of the original 1729 English fortification, Fort Augustus, which later on were transformed into St Benedict’s Abbey. The Highland Club was developed over a number of years and the Abbey Church conversion was finally completed in 2012.
Though The Highland Club is not a hotel, we have exclusive amenities for use by those who are staying including an indoor pool, steam and sauna, the club lounge and snooker room, The Boathouse Restaurant, a tennis court and many other facilities including a cricket pitch!
The Highland Club is your home from home – whether on a self-catering holiday or as an owner of one of the magnificent luxury residences available for purchase. Both holiday bookings and property purchases can be made through our website.
