This week Richard spent 3 days running the West Highland Way. He finished in Fort William, had a quick pub meal and headed up to meet me at the CIC hut on Ben Nevis.
After a slightly unsettled night, expecting to go on a rescue on the North face, we had a leisurely breakfast before completing his 4 day mission.
- 96 miles of running with over 4000m of height gain
- 10 miles and over 1000m of climbing on Ben Nevis
- diverting from a gully climb due to potential avalanche hazard
- enjoying a safe and stress free ascent of Ledge Route
Chapeau Richard! And whatever next?!!

Some fine routes, on a fine crag, with some fine folk. Best on the West bathurst
