It’s been a productive start to the the week! Yesterday Thomas Mills returned from the Chilton’s where they’ve been completing their Duke of Edinburgh award. Stradbroke Primary had a day out in Norwich in one of our 70 seaters while Saxmundham primary headed to Norfolk for their residential. While all this was going on we had 155 students from Debenham High at Southwold for a geography trip.

This morning I was up early to take Stradbroke High to Stansted while Sandlings Primary have had a day at Felixstowe!

Its been a while since I’ve posted so thought an update was in order. This week marks the busiest since schools went back over a month ago. With 6 coaches out today alone, I’m last out at Culford with Fram College.

Rail replacement continues with a busy half term blockade coming up. We’ve also increased the amount of vehicles we can operate after picking up additional contracts over the summer. With big plans for our 75th anniversary next year things are going well 😊

I bet when Saxmundham primary booked a trip to Sizewell beach for the end of September, they weren’t expecting July weather! ☀️
With a drive past Thorpeness on the way back I think they all had a cracking day out.

September is here and we’re ready to go! It’s been a productive summer but we’ve all had time to take some time off and recharge the batteries.

Over the summer we’ve picked up 2 new contracts, bought two additional vehicles and taken on two new drivers adding to the team. It’s always a bit daunting but the approach of taking a gamble has served us well over the last decade so onwards and upwards 💪

Noah got a snap of me actually doing some driving on our latest route this afternoon 👀

We’ve been at The Big Bus Show today with other operators from across the county and beyond. A big shoutout goes to Noah Warne who spent his own time yesterday getting them looking spotless! From all the photos taken I’m sure the hard work was appreciated.
