Milbrook S 2 🙌Hedge End Town FC🙌 4.

Really enjoyable day at the office for myself and Craig in the dug out.

The team Boyed by the return of Swifty, Jay & Lawrence Parnell.

Was a good start but Milbrook quickly took control of the midfield and went 1-0 up out of no where from a matt west goal.
Couple of tweaks were made and we tightened up the midfield with a great anchor man performance from Steve Deacon.

We built momentum and were soon 1-1 after a great strike from swift from outside box saw us level.

Lawrence Parnell was ripping up the right wing doing everything but score.

The introduction of Mite Andonov was a positive change.
Mite came on and really grabbed the game with both hands.

We then went 2-1 down against the run of play to another great goal from Matt West.

HET came out second half and fully took control of the match led from the back by 15 year old Will Connor

The team were bang on it. Playing some cracking football. Second goal came from Swifty going on a mazy run down the left wing before squaring it to mite who broke the goal from about 10 yards. This marked his first goal for the club.
The lads were growing in confidence which then led to an Austin Griggs Pole driver cutting in from the right onto his left foot.

The lads were missing chances but creating plenty which was key.

After a great bit of play. The ball was greeted by Jay Malerian who scissor kicked it on top bins from a yard and almost took the goal over milbrook towers.

Happy with the whole squad today. The under 18s Kaiden, mite, will & Austin showing they can mix it in men’s football.

MOTM could have gone to a few of the lads. Steve Deacon was a close second. The award had to go to the 16 year old Mite Andonov. Played like he owned the place.

A positive result again at a very good Milbrook side. Best of luck to them.

Another year and another successful Chas audit.
So pleased for the team. We take our Health & Safety seriously at WGS and will continue to do so moving forward.

Customer happy with the 10” log 🪵 rings we cut for them.
