This morning, before our changeovers (just making sure everything was in stock 😉… we aren’t silly! 🤣), we got CAKE! 🧁🍰
We even made sure to video call my Nan so she could choose one for herself. She absolutely loved the lemon meringue blondie 😋🍋
To be honest, we pretty much got one of everything! 😂
If you’re staying with us, make sure you pop into Cakes by the Ocean . I honestly can’t recommend them enough! ❤️
And the best bit… they’re just a short walk from our bungalows! 🥰🍰

I don't usually share many personal posts on here, but today I wanted to give a little birthday shout-out to my beautiful daughter, Kelsie, who is 20 today! 🥳❤️

Kelsie is not only my daughter, but my right-hand girl here at Brambles chine holidays She’s the one making sure everything is absolutely perfect for our guests, from the cleaning to all those little finishing touches that make such a difference.

And then there’s the singing… 😂🎶

Kelsie is the girl who sings whilst we work, whether we’re inside or outside the bungalows. Kate Bush is a firm favourite, with a bit of Dolly Parton thrown in recently, of course! So apologies if she’s interrupted anyone’s breakfast with her rather enthusiastic squealing! 😂 She genuinely believes she can sing… and we’ll let her carry on believing that! 🤣

September is one of our favourite times on the island! The summer crowds have eased, the beaches are quieter, and there’s still plenty of sunshine to enjoy.

Just the one changeover at Brambles chine holidays for us today, with tomorrow set to be a much busier one! 🧹🏡
So, we made the most of our afternoon off and spent it exploring at Carisbrook Castle 🏰❤️
A lovely little break before we’re back to it tomorrow! 😊
We hope that everyone is having a wonderful bank holiday weekend 💜
