Foxtwood Cottages

Foxtwood Cottages Foxtwood Cottages are to be found in the Churnet Valley, part of the beautiful Staffordshire Peak District. This luscious area is just waiting to be explored.

Foxtwood - relaxing, space to play, stunning views, steam trains, canal boats, walking, fishing, log fires, wild flowers, good pubs, market towns - and even Alton Towers for those who want thrills. With a labyrinth of footpaths you can criss-cross the valley through traditional meadows and woodlands, enjoy a pub lunch or have afternoon tea in some stunning locations. Our cottages offer a warm and

comfortable retreat from your hectic daily life, with idyllic views from all the windows. Explore our lake and grounds where you can be at one with nature. Children love the space we offer in which to play and frolic. Evenings can be spent with loved ones in front of a cosy log fire or you could sample some of the traditional public houses in our local villages. We love our local environment with its wealth of things to offer, from the local heritage steam railway, outdoor activities, museums and numerous visitor attractions, but best of all is the natural beauty of the area. We also love to look after our environment, and are proud to have achieved the Staffordshire Environmental Quality Mark. During your stay we welcome and encourage you to join us in all aspects of this by using local produce shops, restaurants, and pubs. Start your walks from the door (this is very easy and they’re the best!). We actively recycle and have tried to make it easy for you to do too, or we’ll even do it for you. We have seven cottages overlooking the Caldon Canal, providing sleeping combinations from 2 to 31 so whatever you require, we should have something for you.

🦢🏥🩺 Yes, that's is a swan and a signet in the front of a vehicle and getting cuddled! If you remember last year our swan and signet got attacked by a mink, and this was how we transported them to The British Wildlife Rescue Centre w who did an amazing job and bringing them back to full health,
If you want to see a little bit of goryness swipe to the end 😭( it's not that bad, but still poor swan)
