👻 It’s officially spooky season and Frome does not disappoint when it comes to events and activities for all the family to enjoy this October half term.

🎃 We’ve got pumpkin picking, song and storytime sessions, a spectacular drone show to wow the whole family, a frightfully fun musical theatre workshop, stay-and-plays, Halloween parties and plenty more to entertain your little monsters!

🎃👻🦇 We're delighted to announce a spooktacular Halloween drone light show, masterminded by the incredible experts (and Britain's Got Talent runners-up) , coming to Frome on Thursday 29th October.

Hundreds of drones will light up the sky above the Old Showfield along with plenty of food and fun for all ages from 6pm, with the show starting at 7:30pm 🎆

🎟 are free with a suggested donation to help Frome Skatepark Project make Frome's new skatepark a reality 🛹 🛴 🚲

Booking is essential for this event and we'll be releasing tickets on 2 separate dates to give as many people as possible a chance to book a place:

🕐 Saturday 10th October - 1pm
🕛 Wednesday 14th October - 12 noon

If you fancy a wander around a market this week you're in luck with not only the Frome Weekly Market on Wednesday and Saturday but also The Frome Independent on Sunday.

All three markets have plenty to offer from local food producers, makers and other independent businesses. Delicious food ranging from fresh fruit and veg for your home cooking, to tasty snacks and artisan produce, the markets are an ideal place top up your supplies🧀🍏

As comes to an end, stand out this autumn with a beautiful vintage treasure or pick up something cosy to wear from an independent fashion supplier. The markets are the perfect place to do a spot of planet friendly shopping! 👗🧤🧣

✨🎄It may still feel sunny and summery today but it's time to save the date for Frome's much-loved lantern parade and Christmas lights switch on!

Join us on Friday 27th November for an extra special and sparkly event as we mark 10 years of this wonderful community celebration. We can't wait to see all the imaginative lanterns inspired by the magical theme of Alice in Wonderland 🐰♥️🫖

🛹Friday 18th September- .project launch The Great Dexhibition, where 45 skateboard decks become 45 canvases for local and national artists to be auctioned off to raise funds for Frome's new skatepark.

🛍 Saturday 20th September- Frome Weekly Market is a fantastic market in the Cattle Market Car Park with plenty of fresh produce, sweet treats, homeware, jewellery, gifts, pet supplies and more.

🎪Saturday 20th September- ForEm, part fête, part exhibition, part experiment. Come along to the Silk Mill for free performances , displays and discussions about Frome.

📚 Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th September- , a brand new festival, bringing together authors, ideas and conversations exploring our connection with nature, the world around us and each other. Taking place at over the weekend.

🚴‍♀️ Sunday 20th September- Ride Kids Ride, at the Old Showfield, Lions Club of Frome invite children to come along with friends and family and see how many laps they can achieve in 30 minutes on their bikes, scooters and skateboards!

🧹Sunday 20th September- World Cleanup Day is a global social action initiative that unites millions of people across the world to tackle litter and waste in their communities. Why not have a quick spruce up of the street near your home? Litter pickers are available to borrow from the Town Hall.
