Next time you're out and about, cast your eyes upwards to try and spot some beautiful old signage, like this one at the entrance to South Parade. 💭

Frome is a treasure trove when it comes to finding hints of its heritage. A historic market town, with evidence today through its thriving markets scene, find nods towards its industrial past and cultural tapestry. Blue plaques peppered throughout the town give way to stories of literature, architecture, culture and more.

Keen to further explore some of these beautiful Frome sights and landmarks? Join a guided walk with an expert as part of Frome's annual Walking Festival, 8th - 10th August, hosted by Walkers are Welcome 🥾

Delve deeper into the town's heritage and history, discover how plants can be used for medicinal purposes, take a wander alongside the river and much more. The festival offers 19 walks over three days, over half of which are free.

🌞 This weekend brings the celebration of the longest day of the year - Summer Solstice, Midsummer, St John's Day, Litha... the list goes on.

Make the most of this beautiful weather we're having and spend time outdoors (safely - avoid peak sun hours, wear sunscreen and hydrate pls). Why not head to Victoria Park for some yoga or a midsummer celebration, take a picnic to another of our green spaces, or dine al fresco in town?
