We managed to dodge the rain yesterday for Andrew’s big birthday. As 3 generations of his family came together from Reading & Scotland to celebrate.

Yesterday we travelled from Lovingly Artisan Bakery H E F T I N N + R E S T A U R A N T & in Cumbria to Ambry Bakery & The Courtyard Dairy in Yorkshire.

Only when we reached The Milking Parlour Kirkby Lonsdale did we catch the ☔️. Where 🍦 was an all round family favourite. New Dad Ross went for 3 courses cone, milkshake & waffles!!

Then off for b**rs 🍻 at the brewery. Family fun, thank you Helen for booking bowlandandbay. It was a joy to share the day with you all 🤗.

Yorkshire Food takes folks on an odyssey of Britains most beautiful places. From the Three Peaks to Malham Cove, whilst crisscrossing the Forest of Bowland.

Along the journey enjoying Yorkshire’s finest cheeses, savoury fresh bakes, sourdough. Country inns & legendary Yarrrrkshire Puds. Then on for a masterclass in Yorkshire charcuterie/salumi.

We then dip back over the border for a Pendle mushroom 🍄‍🟫 wisdom. Finishing the day in the w**e caves & b**r halls of Bowland.

Full to the brim! Yesterday for Peter’s 70th with his family & neighbours. Thank you Pamela Yoga Hideaway for organising the crew 🫶🏻. See you on the mat Monday 🧘🏻‍♀️.
