The lights are glowing, Athelas has had a little evening makeover, and behind the scenes we’re putting the finishing touches to something rather special. 🌿✨

There’s something rather lovely about September in the North York Moors…
The children are back at school, the roads and beaches are a little quieter, the days can still be wonderfully sunny ☀️ and there’s plenty of time for walks, good food and a proper little escape.
And Meadowsweet B&B has a couple of September breaks still available 💛
🛏️ Thursday & Friday this week – 2 nights
🌿 24th–30th September – 6 nights
Our peaceful ensuite king room is just £80 per night, including our relaxed continental breakfast with homemade bread and jam.
Free parking, countryside walks from the door, and Whitby and the coast just a short drive away.
September really is a bit of a secret gem here. 🍂🌾

The hot tub has arrived! We are now busy putting in the wall, it is a private spa after all 😆 We are working hard to get this wonderful addition to breaks at Laneside ready for the end of september. On the 19th September the wonderful Alan from is lined up to take photos 📸 ready for our big reveal 😊 I'm excited for decorating and making this space something truly special and unique for guests to enjoy. We've been busy this morning cleaning, freshening and resetting Athelas ready for our next guests — and I have to say, she's looking rather lovely! 🧹✨

There's something so satisfying about fresh linens, a beautifully clean cottage and everything just so before the next arrival. 💚

If you're thinking about a little North Yorkshire escape, our next available dates are:

✨ 27th & 28th September – a perfect little 2-night break

And we're particularly excited about what's coming for our September guests onwards... 👀

♨️ Our brand new covered hot tub retreat is almost ready!

Tucked away in a beautiful covered space overlooking the garden, apple tree and valley beyond, it's been a rather special little transformation.

Fairy lights, natural wood, a vintage mirror and lots of lovely details... ✨🌿

We're keeping you in suspense for just a little longer, but much more information and pictures of our new retreat are coming very soon!

Just a few peaceful days somewhere beautiful, a comfortable bed, fresh Yorkshire air and a leisurely breakfast with homemade bread and homemade jam. 🍞🍓

Our Meadowsweet B&B room is a peaceful, private ensuite room within our home, with free parking and all the little comforts that make a stay feel easy and relaxed.

And because we love having guests stay a little longer, our 3-night stays come with some extra breakfast treats, including fresh fruit to enjoy alongside your homemade loaf and preserves. 💚
