What a day yesterday was, full of adventure, a bit of mischief and a lot of fun. Mum and I took the kids to Edinburgh by train to see Bluey on stage.
After getting on the wrong train from Glasgow, to twisting my ankle running for the train to get us back to Glasgow, to finally getting on the correct train we made it to Edinburgh. By then we were pushing it to get to Bluey on time, so speeding walk from Waverly to the theatre but we made it.
After Bluey, we went for lunch and then on to Holyrood Palace. While walking there we noticed a lot of Pride flags, feather boas etc, didnt know what was going on. Closer we got to the Palace(Scottish Parliament is right across the road from the Palace) the busier it got with people with flags and signs and some very interesting costumes. Turns out there was a Pride march on, so we boogied it into the Palace. In there Chels host her s**t, tried to sit on the thrones, did sit on a chair in the kinds chamber and was all in all a terror. She was behaved out in the Palace gardens thankfully.
We then decided to go home, get back to Waverly station to find out all trains to Glasgow Queen Street station were cancelled so had to get train to Glasgow Central which added another 45 mins to our journey time and the train was packed.
So, a very adventurous day indeed 😊
