We’re delighted to officially launch MTG Connect, our new connected customer and booking management system developed to help our members manage the entire booking journey in one place.

From CRM and quotes through to bookings, payments, travel documents, vouchers and client communications, MTG Connect brings together the tools our members need to run their businesses more efficiently. Clients can also access their own quotes, bookings and documents online, with a dedicated customer app to follow.

For us, this is about more than introducing another piece of technology. It’s about continuing to invest in our members’ businesses, reducing unnecessary admin, giving them greater control and helping them deliver an even better experience for their customers, all included with their MTG membership.

A fantastic day in Leeds for the Jet2holidays Non-Retail Summit.
Our Operations and Support Executive, Janet Walker, represented Merlin Travel Group at yesterday’s event, joining travel colleagues, hotel partners and the Jet2 team for an interesting day of updates, business sessions and a partner showcase.
The day was rounded off with a fantastic Gala Dinner, great entertainment and the company of friends and colleagues from across the industry.
A huge thank you to the Jet2 Holidays team for their hospitality and for delivering another excellent Summit. Events like this are always so valuable for strengthening supplier relationships and bringing insight back into the business for the benefit of our members.

We’re delighted to welcome Lynne Cuthbertson to Merlin Travel Group in the newly created role of Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator.
Lynne is an experienced travel agent and has operated her own independent travel business as a member of MTG for the past two years, giving her first-hand understanding of the member experience and making her well placed to support prospective and new members joining us.
This is an important appointment for MTG as we continue to grow and further strengthen the recruitment and onboarding experience for new members.
Lynne’s appointment also coincides with the launch of a strategic recruitment campaign as we look to welcome more quality independent travel agent businesses into Merlin Travel Group.

Congratulations to Merlin Travel Group member Kieran Miller of Magical Traveller, who has been nominated for the CLIA Cruise Master Award at the Agent Achievement Awards in London tomorrow.

This is a fantastic recognition of Kieran’s cruise knowledge, hard work and passion for the cruise industry, outstanding sales, and dedication to his clients.

What a great day at the easyJet Holidays HOP event at St George’s Park.
A brilliant day with Team Orange, fantastic supplier updates, useful conversations, and time spent with our MTG team.
A few prizes were won along the way too, which always helps!
Now it’s time for sundowners before we head off to our MTG After Hours dinner this evening.

Today Merlin Travel Group turns 7 years old.

When we started MTG in 2019, we knew we wanted to build something different.

Seven years on, we have achieved more than we expected, but in many ways it still feels like we have only just started.
