What a crazy month this has been so far in travel!

We've been getting on with re-booking and re-protecting our clients' holidays, and dealing with all the cancellations and travel disruptions on our clients' behalf.

We've also been ringing and messaging clients leaving in the next few months to keep them updated with inside information or even just a bit of reassurance.

It's sad for us to read posts or hear that some people can't get hold of anyone to discuss their already made plans.

Even if you have booked elsewhere and cannot get hold of anyone, or if you know anyone that's in a panic over their holiday plans, feel free to pass on our number in case they want to discuss anything.

Our priority will always be with those who have booked with us but as we've already sorted out the needs of most of our clients, we're happy to help others where we can.

Please help protect the travel industry by changing your dates rather than cancelling! There'll be no airlines, hotels, tour companies, cruise lines, etc left if everyone cancels. You'll definitely want a holiday after all this blows over. ✈️⛴🏖🏝

Within 2 weeks we have had an Airline collapse and now Cruise Ports are closing and Italy has closed its cities down... At a time like this many people are grateful that they have the support and experience of a Travel Agent to sort things out.

Many airline customers are now struggling to get through to find out where they stand, many have non refundable rooms booked but no aircrafts to take them there, many are not bonded and many will spend ££ and time on phone calls trying to resolve it....

Those who have booked with Agents are sitting back awaiting us to do all that and use our tight relationships with hotel chains/airlines/ground arrangement companies to either rebook new dates or arrange a prompt return of their money.

Remember if you book with The Travel Portfolio and the Foreign Office say its unsafe to travel then you will receive 100% of your money back.
