Just behind the Ben Lomond Ranger Station you find the wonderful kid friendly walk called the Hidden History Trail. It has had a few upgrades over the last year and provides stunning views of Loch Lomond.

Isle of Skye. Fairy Pools. A 5 mile circuit or take the same path in and out. Stunning views. Muddy and boggy in places.

Today was the longest hike we’ve done in years. Kerrera island loop with a few extras. Clan Macdougall castle had spectacular views. It’s an hike with a lot of up and down hills and a rocky road. Visited with Sheep and lambs, bunnies and a goat along the way and even a dog named teddy joined us part way (until he was pooped out).
