With students travelling to the UK for their Brigid-Brighde-Brigantia dedication weekend, the first need for an 'ETA' was needed...

Anybody from outside the EU already needs one now to come into the UK - from 2nd April all EU travellers need one too!

So, prepare yourself - an ETA lasts for 2 years (unless you get a new passport in those 2 years) - so a little extra admin for 2 years...

In 2012 kreeg ik een idee om een boek samen te stellen waarin 13 vrouwen iets zouden vertellen hoe ze naar de aarde keken en wat ze zelf aan het doen waren om positieve verandering te brengen. Met dank aan A3Boeken.nl leverde dat een prachtig inspirerend boek op: Aardevrouwen spreken. Nog steeds geldt de boodschap: we zijn verbonden met de aarde en de natuur! Het blijft belangrijk om die verbinding te eren.

In het weekend van 6-8 September 2024 gaan 17 vrouwen bij elkaar komen om thuis te komen in zusterschap. Dit op een mooie natuurlijke locatie: centrum Zunnekaant in Orvelte Drenthe. Ik voel me vereerd en dankbaar dat ik dit mag doen.

A Brighid Cross in Avalon

During The Goddess Conference we made a Healing Brighid Cross, in the 'crap apple circle' on the slopes of the Tor - from all the sticks and stones that were offered to Her in the Healing Ceremony, to be absorbed in the land, to transform all wounding, grief and pain into strength, comfort and love!

Please respect this cross as the sacred symbol linked with the Goddess and Saint Brighid, whose presence is deeply felt here in the town and in the land!

If you come across it and you want to add something to it, please feel free to do so - The Brighid Cross is a ancient symbol that brings healing and protection! 🙏🔥💚

Inspiring!

Alastair's uncle Michael Burt was the oldest person to climb the Old Man of Hoy (Orkney) and he kept climbing up to the age of 92 !!!
His daughter Sarah (Alastair's cousin) is cycling from Norfolk with his ashes to The Old Man of Hoy herself, where she will (as she says:) 'Throwing an old man of a cliff'

She does this to honour her father, but also to raise money for they Derbyshire Wildlife Trust. If you are inspired by her as I am, maybe you can donate some money to make her journey even more worthwhile!
