Despite the best efforts of the council to send you on a massive detour cars can still get to Windermere from Ullswater. Kirkstone Pass is closed on the southern side so you can still use the Struggle to get to Ambleside from Patterdale. It’s very quiet in Glenridding because of misleading signs but we would love to see you. 😃
