After welcoming our first members in August, I've opened a limited number of new spaces from 1st–5th September, and I'm extending the introductory price of £35 for ONE more month.

I like BIG ROCKS and I cannot lie 🪨😘

Next Sunday we're heading off the beaten track for Outer Edge & Crow Stones; a 15km adventure into one of the quieter, wilder corners of the Dark Peak.

With huge gritstone formations, open moorland, big views, a trig point and Ethel and some hidden history to discover! Here's everything you need to know:

Archeologist and historian, Dr Tim, has become a firm fave amongst the Peak Outdoor Community!

This walk invites you to explore the incredible Big Moor area of the Peak District, which is absolutely PACKED with evidence of human history...AND this one is open to all ♂️♀️

Led by Mountain Leader and POC founder Emily, and guided by Dr Tim, we will discover and learn about:

🤯 3 stone circles
🤯 a Bronze Age field system
🤯 2 medieval crosses
🤯 packhorse routes
🤯 a 17th century guide stoop
..and so much more!

The 5-9 before the 9-5 😌

So we didn't get the cloud inversion or those pink skies...but we did:

✅️ have breakfast on a hill
✅️ take in some stunning views
✅️ learn about some history and folklore
✅️ feel the first sunrays on our faces
✅️ do our 10000 steps before 8am

And all with beautiful company 😍

It's not a 'failed' sunrise...it's always a win to get outside before work ✨️

Sunset hike of dreams ✨️🥾🌄

We had a few drop outs for this one for various reasons, so just 7 of us headed out to take in some of the Peak District's most iconic views 😍

Seeing the Salt Cellar at sunset has been on my personal bucket lists forever and it was magical to finally get to witness it with such gorgeous company!

Let's hope the sky is putting on a show like this for our sunrise hike on 25th of this month 🥹

4 years of this beautiful community 🥹

And we were treated to a beautiful sunset on Bleaklow - the second highest hill in the Peak District.

A stunning 5 mile circular taking in Bleaklow Head and the kissing stones, Higher Shelf stones and the trig point, and the B29 crash site.

We walked, talked, geeked over history and geology, sat and ate cakes whilst the sun was setting and just enjoyed each other's company 🥰

I'm feeling very grateful to all of the women who have made this comminuty what it is today - a beautiful, welcoming space where we can be ourselves 💚

I am SO EXCITED to be able to share this with you all 🥹🌿

Four years ago, I had this idea to put on a women-only guided history walk on a random Monday. I called it 'Mums Between the School Runs' and I thought no one would turn up.

Turns out I was wrong as it was fully booked! Some of the women who came on those first walks are still coming along today and I'm so proud of the beautiful community we have built together.

Over the years, I've tried various loyalty cards and schemes to reward my regular attendees...but now it feels like the right time to launch a membership 🥹

You don't need to sign up to a membership to get involved. All walks have non-member and member ticket options so nothing changes if you'd prefer to pay as you go.

This community has become so much more than I ever imagined, and if you'd like to be part of its next chapter, I'd absolutely love to have you.
