Beefy Boys are a family favourite, and just got top 3 in The Times best burger joints. Take a trip to beautiful medieval Hereford for the original restaurant or keep an eye out for their burger van (often seen in the Forest of Dean) like Alec did in Ross-on-Wye. ( He has v big hands - the burger is huge and gloriously indulgent!)

This made national news this week (The Times). Quite amazing to think there is all this cave system underground running underneath us from English Bicknor to the Wye. Has a talk about it in the village last Friday which was fascinating (aiming to post a summary on the English Bicknor Local History Group website soon).
