YES, JAMAICA BLUE IS STILL OPEN!

You might have spotted some scaffolding outside Jamaica Blue at King’s Quarter, but don’t worry they’re open as normal and their opening hours haven’t changed.

So you can still drop in, take a break and get your coffee fix.

And if you haven’t tried their Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee yet, this is your sign. 👀☕ Known around the world for its smooth, rich flavour, it’s definitely one for coffee lovers to try.

From incredible cosplay and amazing wrestling action to families making memories together, Geek Out Gloucester was everything we hoped it would be… and more.

Seeing children light up when they met their favourite characters, hearing the cheers during the wrestling, and watching so many people from different communities come together is exactly why events like this matter.

We’re still making our way through all the incredible photos from Geek Out Gloucester… and wow. 🤩📸

One thing that stood out more than anything was the amazing effort so many of you put into your cosplay. The creativity, craftsmanship and passion on display was absolutely incredible.

But the best part?

Watching the reactions of children as they saw their favourite characters come to life many for the very first time. The smiles, the excitement, the look of pure amazement… those are the moments we’ll never forget.

And it wasn’t just the children. Seeing parents smile, laugh and watch their little ones make memories that will last a lifetime reminded us what Geek Out Gloucester was really about.

It wasn’t just an event. It was a day where people of all ages came together, escaped into worlds they love, and created moments they’ll be talking about for years to come.

Thank you to every cosplayer who gave up their time, every family who came along, and everyone who helped make Gloucester’s first ever Geek Out so special.
