Hey, I am Jade, Gloucester Care - coordinator.

My journey with Flexicare began in May 2022 as a carer for the Gloucester branch. I loved the flexibility of the role around my young children. Then, in January 2023, I took on the role as Gloucester care co-ordinator, alongside my colleague Julie. I am excited to be starting my PTTLS and train the trainer course later this year.

I am married and have three young children, a dog called Ginny and a cat called Koda!

When I am not working, I love to spend time outdoors with my family! I love holidays, the theatre and baking!

Hello,

My name is Julie, I have worked with Flexicare since July 2010, and I am currently the care coordinator at the Gloucester branch.

I started my journey with Flexicare as a carer and was passionate about delivering outstanding care with the understanding that continuity for those we care for is so important. I still care for one of my regular clients and enjoy seeing the impact I have to their life. I stepped into the coordination role when Jenna went on Maternity leave for her first son, and I have been here ever since! I now work closely with my colleague Jade to ensure smooth operations over the Gloucester branch.

I have two children and two grandchildren and play an active role in family life. I enjoy running, Pilates and yoga and walking my dog Tilly around the local area 😊

Hello, my name is Heidi. I started working at Flexicare in 2019 as a bank carer. It was such a rewarding role and I loved being out in the community and being able to help others.

With my Management & Leadership skills, I was able to develop Flexicare’s HR team to allow the business to work more efficiently. This then progressed into my current role as Registered Manager of the Newent & Ledbury branch.

I am married, with 2 sons who both keep me very busy, along with our dog Cooper.

I love to travel and enjoy spending time and making memories with my friends & family!

Hello, I am Jo.

I have been with Flexicare for 16 years starting as a carer, then team leader in Gloucester. I moved to the Stroud branch at its inception 7 years ago as care co-ordinator and became Registered Manager for the Stroud branch in August 2023. I still enjoy going out to provide care to our clients . I work alongside Bex and Michaela, the two Stroud co-ordinators.

I have three children, and two beautiful granddaughters. In my spare time I like to travel the country enjoying mini breaks, sightseeing, and enjoying nature.

Hello,

My name is Jenna, I have grown up with the family business when it started in 1997, and I am now part owner of Flexicare.

I feel proud to say that I started my journey with Flexicare at 17 years old as a carer and found passions to embark on a train the trainer journey for training quality care provision in Moving and Enabling and especially Dementia. My speciality in the company is operations and coordination, and I now oversee the wider operations of the company and its three branches! I still thrive off last minute changes and the way the team pulls together to ensure every care visit is delivered exceptionally!

I am married with 2 sons, a dog called Otis and a cat called Tikka! I keep active at Netball and Football and love adventuring to see the beauty of our countryside and travelling to other countries too! I am also on a governing body at a local school and feel this, coupled with the role I do at work, I can have a positive impact in both our younger and older generations.

I am married and Mum to 3 beautiful girls and a dog called Tink! I love helping in the community and I am currently Chair of Governors at a local Outstanding Primary school. I have a genuine passion for helping people and I love playing Netball!

Hello, my name is Jeanette Phillips, and I am the CEO/Founder of Flexicare UK Ltd. In 1997, after three years of planning, I founded Flexicare UK. At that time, social care was unregulated and compromised of short visits and tasks to complete.

Over the last 27 years, I have enjoyed the challenge of steering Flexicare UK to achieve "Outstanding" status through policy and safe practice, ensuring that person-centered and relational support is successfully delivered within our Hubs and Hublets. I enjoy working with my excellent team here at Flexicare UK and also with my colleagues at DHSC/Skills for Care. We are a pilot site for integrated care/support in the UK.

Next year will mark my 50th year in nursing. I qualified as an RGN in 1981, specializing in Elderly Care and Orthopaedic Nursing. I completed a Post Graduate Certificate at Birmingham University in 2013, in Public Sector Commissioning. I am passionate about movement and enabling the correlation between movement and health, having lectured in Social Care for 30 years. I really enjoy bringing health and well-being to the community through our Hubs and Hublets and have spent over a decade in research and development.

I have two lovely daughters, Anna and Jenna, who oversee Finance and Operations at Flexicare UK Ltd and have supported me unconditionally during the company's growth. I live in a cottage with my partner, Mark, and my dog and cat, Bella and Freda. I have worked as a de facto volunteer leader in the public sector, helping executives in Health and Social Care work together.

I am a member of the Leaders Council of Great Britain and have assisted with authoring the Levelling Up Agenda for the UK Government, encouraging different "Thinking and Doing" in Social Care. Outside of work, I love spending time with family and grandchildren, traveling the world to visit friends in Australia and the US (including research trips), gardening, painting, playing the guitar, ballroom dancing, and knitting baby blankets.

I love nurturing a new generation with my grandchildren's learning experiences. In the last six months, I have taken up netball and propose to continue my health and well-being practice within the company moving forward as part of my nursing CPD.
