There’s so much more to a holiday at Hillside Cottage; it's a chance to reconnect with loved ones, breathe in the invigorating sea air, and create cherished moments that will last a lifetime.

I fondly remember days at the beach with my family - sandcastles, rock pools, ice cream and chips! And the time my Dad gave me his ice cream as I’d dropped mine in the sand (just like he said I would)! 🥰

Kay has been invaluable in her support when we left our OTA, set up a new website and took control of our cottage again advertising though Airbnb. With her valued guidance we now have a more personal relationship with our valued guests - making personal recommendations of places to visit and things to see based on their preferences, personalising the welcome pack for any dietary requirements and having direct contact with them to ensure they have a delightful holiday. We feel that Kay’s expertise has enabled us to not only improve our business but has assisted us in being better hosts . Thank you Kay.

We’ve had a great time learning how to make a traditional lobster pot at Lamledra barn in Gorran Haven this week.

Special thanks to all those who helped us and in particular Matt and Lynne who ensured we produced a convincing lobster pot! 🦞 We can’t wait to make another!
