🌳Finally, the moment we’ve all been waiting for is almost here. Tomorrow, the gardens and castle open their doors once again after a long, rain-soaked Cornish winter. The woodland paths are bursting with life—just a little soft underfoot—so we highly recommend bringing your favourite wellies. And if you’re planning to wander through the castle too, a spare pair of shoes will make the day even more comfortable.
Once you’re here, treat yourself to something delicious at Magnolia Tea Rooms, now run by the brilliant team at Manor Made, already beloved in St Austell for their exceptional food and warm hospitality. ☕️
Open from 10am - 5pm ~ dogs on leads welcome ~ free parking for visitors at Porthluney Beach.

Discover Engine House, one of our beautiful holiday cottages tucked away on the Caerhays Estate. Just a short stroll from the South West Coast Path and the golden sands of Porthluney Beach, it sits peacefully on the edge of the Caerhays Castle gardens. *Important Announcement*

After careful consideration over the past few weeks, we have made the decision to postpone the opening of Caerhays Castle Gardens to Monday, 2 March 2026. Recent storms and persistent wet weather have created challenging conditions, and our garden team has been working tirelessly to prepare the grounds for visitors.
This short delay will provide the additional time needed to ensure the gardens are safe and ready to welcome you. The safety of our visitors remains our highest priority.

We look forward to welcoming you all from the 2nd March.
