How lovely to receive this feedback today from guests who enjoyed their time staying here. Thanks so much to Christopher for letting us know that all (including his border collies) enjoyed their visit. Their dogs are obviously way more handsome, but this is my bit of creative licence 🐾💚

Looking back with gratitude as we celebrate our Customer's Choice 2025 award from Cottages•com earlier this year. It is less than a year since we started welcoming you into our little slice of paradise, so this milestone means a lot.

A heartfelt thank you to every guest who has shared their experiences and feedback, helping us achieve this recognition.

We look forward to creating even more wonderful memories with you in our lovely location between fells and west coast of Cumbria, Lake District.

Not only does The Wasdale Sawmill serve gorgeous food and drinks (not forgetting afternoon tea if you give them a little bit of notice), they also sell every day essentials. So when you are staying with us, fancy exploring the beautiful area that is Wasdale and want to top up on a few bits and bobs, here's your answer!

It really is a wonderful place to visit, and also has some gorgeous products in the shop too.

A quick reminder that we sell every day essentials as well as a wide variety of food items to create a feast to feed the whole family 🥛🍞🧀 🍎🍅🍌

We also have an extensive giftware range, skincare, clothing accessories, beer and wine, kids toys and more!

Plus, as far as possible it's all locally sourced! Pop in to check out what we have to offer ❤

Open every day 930-430pm except Tuesdays (until 8th July when we WILL be open on Tuesdays for the summer).
