An exact replica of Waterbird, the UK’s first successful seaplane, is set to take to the skies over Windermere this Friday & Saturday 5 & 6 September as part of Wings Over Windermere ✈️👏

View the flight from Brockhole on the banks of Windermere and learn more about history of Waterbird at a free permanent exhibition in Windermere Library.

Plus, the Red Arrows are set to fly past on the Friday only, most likely around 2:45pm, followed by a Spitfire flypast at around 6:49pm - making this a must for aviaton fans!
