Our Scilly Isles in Autumn trip started with a bang as the group headed straight to Porthellick on arrival to catch up with the Sora, present on St Mary's for a week.

Over the next few days, more rarities followed, including Wilson's Snipe, Surf Scoter, Yellow-browed Warbler, Lapland Bunting, and Isabelline Shrike. More common migrants, such as Whinchat, Black Redstart, Wryneck, and Yellow Wagtail, have helped make it a fabulous week so far! 🐦‍⬛🏝️

Our Ecuador and Galapagos tour has recently concluded, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The birding was truly spectacular, with unforgettable sightings of the Long-wattled Umbrellabird, the Andean Cock-of-the-Rock, dozens of hummingbird species, colorful tanagers, the Toucan Barbet, Antpittas, and many more. The Spectacled Bear was an incredible highlight for the guide and group!

Our incredible 16-night Namibia tour has just come to an end, and our guide Mike has shared these absolutely stunning photos with us. The birding highlights included Blue Cranes, Rockrunner, Rosy-faced Lovebirds, Secretarybird, Rüppell's Korhaans, and Ostrich. We also had many unforgettable mammal sightings, including Black Rhino, Elephant, Cheetah, Giraffe, Lion, Hyena, Greater Kudu, and Gemsbok.

We have had two very successful weeks of birding on our Outer Limits Adventure tours.

Dave & Jenna’s group in the first week were treated to Buff-breasted Sandpiper, Baird’s Sandpiper, Glossy Ibis, as well as both Sooty and Great Shearwater! In the second week, Paul’s group were lucky enough to find Citrine Wagtail, Sabine’s Gull, up close White-tailed Eagle and Parrot Crossbill – a lifer for many!

It sounds like our Cornwall in Autumn group has been having a great week so far! Heatherlea guide Toby says they have had some amazing sightings. 🐦

A point-blank Lapland Bunting and Wryneck got things off to a brilliant start, before news broke of a mega-rare North American Upland Sandpiper — sending everyone heading for the hills!

And just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, they finished with a Spotted Sandpiper at Drift.
