If you use our ANPR car parks, you can register for AutoPay and have your parking paid automatically when you leave.

AutoPay is available at:

Rathmore Road, Parrock Street, and Milton Place/Ordnance Road car parks.

That means no need to use a parking kiosk anymore. Just drive in, park, and go.

Your number plate is picked up when you exit, and payment is handled automatically.

Getting started is easy:

👉 Register once at https://www.gravesham.gov.uk/parking/autopay with your vehicle and payment details.

You can log in anytime to manage your vehicles, update payment info, or download receipts.

Prefer to keep using the kiosks? That option’s still available too.

A small switch — but one that makes parking quicker, easier, and more flexible.

The next Aloud 2 Laugh takes place on Friday 25th July at Blake’s nightclub for young people in school years 10 to 13.

Tickets must be purchased in-person at The Grand Healthy Living Centre, 1-4 Wilfred Street, Gravesend in advance of the event.
When young people purchase their ticket, they receive a wristband. All other relevant details are on the GYG website via the link below.

Subsequent events take place on Friday 24th 2025 October, Friday 19th December 2025 and Friday 20th February 2026.

This Saturday sees the 2025 Thames Sailing Barge Match on the river - starting 930am in Lower Hope Reach - some vessels will gather at Gravesend the night before on Town Pier Pontoon, where the race will also finish on Saturday afternoon ahead of a presentation evening in The Three Daws Riverside Inn
