🎼 Today we celebrate the birthday of Sir Edward Elgar, born on 2 June 1857.

The beautiful Malvern Hills and Worcestershire countryside inspired much of his music. Elgar loved walking among the hills, finding inspiration in the landscape that would help shape some of Britain's most cherished compositions.

His music continues to inspire audiences around the world today.

Happy Birthday, Sir Edward Elgar. 🎶

NEW Tenbury Wells Play Area – Now Open! ☀️🌳🛝

Your summer day out in Tenbury Wells just got an upgrade! 🪁

Head down to The Burgage in the town centre to see the new equipment including zip wire, climbing frame, roundabout and separate area for under 8’s with slide, climbing frame and swings

The old wooden play equipment has been replaced with modern, sustainable and accessible equipment, with adventurous play features and designs that support children of all ages and abilities. 🎈

The play area is conveniently located next to the free parking at Tenbury Community Pool and a quick walk to the Burgage park as well the tennis courts the shops and cafes in the town centre

The renovation works were carried out by Tenbury Town Council with funding from Tenbury Youth Projects and Malvern Hills District Council
