Some pictures from my walk with Freddie along California Beach last night 🐾

October is being very kind to us at the moment. Warm enough to feel more like summer, calm seas, beautiful sunsets and even a seal making an appearance just offshore. 🦭

It’s one of those evenings that reminds you how special this stretch of the Norfolk coast is.

With California Sands now open right through until the New Year, there’s still plenty of time to enjoy a quieter autumn or winter break by the sea.

The patios at three of our chalets at California Sands have now been upgraded and extended, giving guests more space to sit outside and enjoy their stay.

The season at California Sands has also been extended until 3 January 2027, so you can now book an autumn break, Christmas by the coast or a New Year getaway.

Fancy a last-minute break on the Norfolk coast?

California Sands Holiday Park has extended its season and is now open until 3 January 2027. When you book a three-night stay in one of our chalets, access to Club Oasis, Oasis Pool and the gym is included in the price.

Club Oasis has a bar, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and offers live entertainment throughout the week. This week includes live vocalists, cabaret, plus a Soul and Motown show. At Oasis pool there are general swims, adults-only sessions and aqua aerobics, so there is plenty to enjoy whatever the weather.

Booking directly with us is 22% cheaper than booking the same stay through Airbnb or Booking.com. You can compare the same dates yourself and see the difference.

Our last-minute discounts are then applied on top of that direct-booking saving:

• 22 to 28 days before arrival: an extra 5% off

A little behind-the-scenes job today, making up our new welcome packs for guests ☕️🍪

Each one has tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits ready for that all-important cuppa when guests arrive. We’ve also chosen boxes in our Norfolk Seaside Escapes colours, which makes them feel a bit more personal.

It’s a small touch, but we think these little details help guests feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door.
