I’ve worked in the travel industry for over 30 years and have been fortunate enough to travel all over the world, from an early age with my parents, with my husband Craig, and of course in my job. Gosh what a week, thank you 🙏 everyone who has waited for me to come back from my few days in Malta 🇲🇹 and for trusting me with your precious time off for your holidays. That trust is never taken for granted and is greatly appreciated.

For our final day in Malta we headed to Valletta and we weren’t disappointed 😍.
We visited The Upper Barrakka Gardens to look out across the Grand Harbour, then headed to St John’s Co-Cathedral and a tour of The Grandmaster’s Palace before going to Rubino Restaurant for another fabulous meal for lunch. After lunch we took a boat ride across to Birgu and The Three Cities before enjoying a wonderful walking tour through Birgu’s little streets.
After this we headed back to our hotel to get freshened up before heading out to Mdina (Old Capital and the Silent City of Malta) for a tour of her Streets and for our final dinner.

Yesterday we took the ferry to Gozo, which only takes about 25 minutes. We then went to see the temples at Ġgantija Archaeological Park in the village of Xagħra before heading to the capital of Victoria to visit the Citadel. After this we went to visit the church at Ta’ Pinu, famous for it’s miracles and then on to our fabulous lunch spot I’ll-Kartell Restaurant, which sits on a beautiful little bay.
In Gozo there’s also a Hop-on Hop-off bus if you just want to see the sights.
I’d definitely recommend a trip over to Gozo as we only touched on a few of the places to visit.

Today we flew from Glasgow to Malta 🇲🇹 with Jet2.com and what a quick flight we had (actual inflight time was 3hrs and 35 minutes).
Immigration arrival into Malta was very easy and fast and passengers were collecting luggage within a half an hour of landing.
We were met on arrival and after a quick visit to The Blue Grotto we headed for lunch at The Limestone Heritage then on to our hotel, Radisson Blu Golden Sands Resort.

This morning we have arrived into New York City and I’ll be bringing you more photos from the city that never sleeps.

Enjoy these photos from our stop in Halifax, where we visited the Maritime Museum, took a Harbour Hopper tour and then visited the Immigration Museum before heading back to the ship.

Majestic Princess has been an amazing journey across the Atlantic even with the hiccups along the way because of the weather. The staff onboard have been truly wonderful and can’t be helpful enough.
I can definitely recommend doing a transatlantic cruise if you want some downtime and want to recharge your batteries.

Belfast yesterday was a great alternative stop. We got to visit The Titanic Museum and then spent the afternoon taking a walk around the city centre. We’re now at sea for the next 6 days until we reach Halifax in Nova Scotia.

Yesterday we were in Haugesund and today was supposed to be Skjolden with our next port in a couple of days Reykjavik, Iceland but due to bad weather both of these have been cancelled and we’re being diverted to Belfast instead. So today we have an extra sea day to explore more of the ship and enjoy the entertainment onboard. Yes it’s a wee bit choppy but we’re managing.

Today we are in Stavanger 😊. I’ve never been to Norway before but I’m sure I’ll definitely be back at some point 😍.
